Keren Bar-Nir has acquired the skills to aid physical and spiritual wellness through her experiences with pain and recovery from major spinal surgeries. Through her journey, she was able to identify acupuncture as the most effective method to manage pain, regain and maintain wellness. This motivated Keren to become a licensed acupuncturist herself and help to guide other people on their own journeys.

Keren has developed her own style of healing that includes Classical Chinese Acupuncture, Japanese Acupuncture and American Acupuncture Physical Medicine (APM). She studied directly with Mark Seem, the pioneer of APM, which has been proven to successfully treat muscular and internal ailments through a unique style of meridian acupuncture. She has also studied directly with Kiiko Matsumoto, who is world renowned for her own style of acupuncture. Keren graduated with honors from the Tri-State College of Acupuncture, and has Master of Science as well as a Bachelor of Arts and Sciences from Boston University.

She is nationally board certified in Acupuncture (Diplomate in Acupuncture) by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM).

Keren doesn’t believe in any set rules for the path toward wellness. All people have different lifestyles, needs and goals. Keren’s method is to treat individual needs as opposed to diseases or ailments.

She creates an atmosphere of healing where a person can escape from the daily pressures of life and achieve a great amount of restoration and balance within a single session. She works with clients in a supportive and nurturing environment to help each person to reach their own spiritual and physical wellness goals.

Keren also works with each client to help give them the tools to empower themselves outside of the clinic.  Her goal is for clients to acquire the tools and support to create a more calm, healthy and meaningful existence for themselves in their daily lives. She believes that when people are happy within themselves, they are better able to show compassion to their families and the world. Healing oneself can yield positive effects that reach far beyond the clinic room.

Keren has spent over a decade working in the fields of fashion, music, and film. As well as practicing yoga, meditation and sound healing, she also practices Tuina (Chinese medical massage), Gau Sha, Cupping, Moxa and heat therapy, facial rejuvenation, sound healing, meditation (including gentle restorative yoga), and nutritional guidance. She uses aromatherapy to promote relaxation and plants’ medicinal properties to help external and internal ailments.
